Thanks to the wonderful help of the Sauble and Area Men's Club BBQ on Saturday, July 8th.

 

The Touch-A-Truck Event included 37 participants with over 225 children and adults to make this a highly successful event. We raised $596 for community outreach; the bake table raised almost $1,000 plus the BBQ was also very successful with $311 raised.

It was a joy to see so many children enjoying themselves and the Shouldice Stone Mobile was one of the favourite Kodak photo shots. For many kids this was their first opportunity to be up close with a whole range of equipment including trucks, the fire engine, the police car, the fishing boat, the ATVs, the Classic Cars and more.

 

Thanks again to the Men's Club Volunteers for helping make it a great community event. Special thanks to Barry Gauthier for his organizational skills to ensure all things ran smoothly at the BBQ.
