LOCATION: Allenford Curling Club, 10 Alice St, Allenford
TIME: Social at 5:30 PM till approx 6:15 PM
Business Meeting - 6:15 PM till 6:45 PM
A delicious Dinner of Ham, Scalloped Potatoes and Veggies followed by Dessert will be served starting between 6:45 PM and 7 PM. Gluten free options will be made available in place of potatoes and dessert as needed upon request in advance of the meeting.
The Bar will be open during the Social time and throughout dinner.
COST: $25.00
Membership Dues: As you know, we did not collect dues for 2021 due to the global Covid pandemic and the subsequent shut down of all our activities in 2020. Please come prepared to "catch up" on both your 2022 and 2023 dues plus pre-pay the dues for 2024 to help keep our Club financially solid.

Dave was the 1st President of the Sauble and Area Men’s Club when it was resurrected in the early 2000’s.
​
Dave as chair of the Men’s Club, some 20 years ago now, championed the sponsoring by the Men’s Club of the clean well project for impoverished families in a central jungle area of Cambodia. He continued helping those remote communities with the construction of their first school which has expanded to include both elementary and secondary students. Those first primary grade children have grown to be parents; their children are now starting in that remote jungle school.

Dave was invited this past January to go to Cambodia for his return visit to the school. Dave’s trip was an amazing journey that included meeting an elephant casually walking down a jungle village’s Main Street, visiting a jungle gas station, riding a Cambodian jungle train that was literally built while he watched.
