Chesley Lake Golf Tournament Report

The Golf Tournament at Chesley Lake Golf Course included 26 people golfing followed by 28 in attendance to enjoy a delicious lunch. An excellent meal was prepared by the staff at the camp including steak, baked potatoes, salad and dessert.

The low net winners were Gary and Lesley Wood and Dave and Elaine Kussmann with a score of 1 under par 33.

Closest to pins were won by Brenda Spurrell, Gary Wood and Bruce Gilmour.

The putting contest resulted in a tie between Cliff Bilyea and Lesley Wood. The lucky winners split the $60 prize to win $30 each.

Tournament proceeds totaling $1470 went to the Allenford Curling Club as a result of the contributions from the putting contest and a very successful silent auction. Cheers and many thanks to all who participated and enjoyed the perfect weather that day.
