We have exceeded our fundraising target of $6,000 by a whopping $1,520 and we want to thank every member of our club who contributed to this great fundraiser.  We also wish to thank  Ken Frook for his devotion to the cause and his hard work in organizing this wonderful event.  As seen in the accompanying photo a cheque was delivered to Amy McKinnon, Director of the Foundation by Ken and our President Dennis Heathers.  Well done, everyone!

Our 2019 fundraising project was approved overwhelmingly by our membership at a meeting in 2018 and it is now about to begin.  We are pleased to announce that our MRI Fundraising Campaign will launch at our dinner meeting to be held on  April 23rd at the Hepworth/Shallow Lake Legion.  Originally we had planned to begin our fundraising in October but we have been informed that the campaign hopes to conclude this Fall.

The current MRI system is used over 11,000 times annually on patients across Grey and Bruce Counties to diagnose a range of medical conditions.  The present MRI has reached the end of its life-span and must be replaced.  A new MRI system will be a major step forward in allowing this critical service to provide diagnostic images right here, close to home.

We are pleased to announce that Amy McKinnon, Executive Director of the Regional Hospital Foundation and Anne Robertson, Director of Medical Imaging will briefly address the Campaign during our business portion of our meeting on April 23rd.

Here is where you can help.  Bring a cheque with you to the meeting and be prepared to support this essential cause!  Help us surpass our goal of $6,000.
