2016 Fundraiser

Congratulations to all Club members!  You have overachieved in raising far more than was set as the Club's goal.  A total of $3,875 has now been received from our members.  That is an incredible $1,375 over our goal of $2,500.  Again, congratulations on a job well done.  A total amount of $6,375 has been sent to the Hospice which included the matching funds of $2,500 from the club treasury.

The Residential Hospice of Grey-Bruce was chosen as our fundraising project for 2015-16. The Hospice has plans for a new building and we are happy to be a part of this ambitious project.

Our Fundraising Coordinator was Rick Schott who did a marvelous job.  A receipt for income tax purposes has been issued by the Hospice for all those who donated.

The Residential Hospice of Grey-Bruce is a community run hospice that cares for patients and their families who are dealing with a progressive life limiting illness providing comfort, support and pain management.  Patients are able to die with dignity in a home like setting.  To read more about the Hospice click on the Hospice logo above.

Please note that the Hospice will be opening on June 1st and is holding public tours on May 23rd and 25th with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on May 26th.  On Saturday May 27th, a Fundraising Gala will be held at the new pavilion at Cobble Beach.  Tickets are $50 each and the night includes an auction, and live entertainment.  Tickets are available by calling 519-370-7239
