Business Meeting - 6:15 PM till 6:45 PM
A delicious Dinner of Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Corn and Coleslaw followed by Dessert, Coffee & Tea will be served starting between 6:45 PM and 7 PM. Gluten free options will be made available in place of potatoes and dessert as needed upon request in advance of the meeting.
The Bar will be open during the Social time and throughout dinner.

Jim's presentation will focus on a brief history of the Legion organization which would include a brief history of both the Shallow Lake Legion and the Hepworth Legion, as well as the amalgamation that brought the two branches together.
​
Jim grew up in Shallow Lake, went to West Hill Secondary School, completed an apprenticeship in auto body repair, moved to Kitchener and became an insurance appraiser. Returned to Shallow Lake in 1987, became involved with the Shallow Lake Hepworth Kinsmen Club including two terms as President. Served one term on the Village of Shallow Lake Council.
Jim has been a Legion member since 1986, having served on the executive, a year as 1st Vice President and three terms as President. Both Jim and his wife Millie have been totally involved in the new building, from start to finish, from negotiating the insurance settlement to the grand opening. They are both looking forward to some serious travelling soon.
