PROOF of Double Vaccination Required

- Salvation Army Kettle Campaign – Fretz’s Valu-Mart -

- Still More Volunteers Needed Gentlemen,

Once again, a big thank you to all those members who have volunteered for the kettle so far. We could still use additional members to help man the kettle to fill all available time slots.

The Salvation Army has indicated that all volunteers for the Kettle MUST provide proof of being Double Vaccinated.

We are proposing several options in order to complete this important requirement as follows:

  1. The preferred option is to email a PDF or photo of your proof of double vaccination documentation (QR Code) to Kim Chegahno of the Salvation Army at kim.chegahno@salvationarmy.ca

  2. Once documentation of double vaccination is recorded your attachment will be deleted.

  3. You can visit Kim Chegahno at the Salvation Army Wiarton Community Church, 576 Edward St. in Wiarton. Kim will view your proof of double vaccination documentation and record that on our list of volunteers. Kim can be reached at 519-534-0353 if you wish to check on her availability before going.

  4. We have also set up 3 one hour time slots at Fretz’s Valu-Mart the week of November 29th with a member of the Salvation Army (Doug Lein) and either Alf Roth or Dennis Heathers to view your proof of double vaccination documentation and record that on our list of volunteers. Meet at Salvation Army Kettle inside the store.

The one hour time slots are as follows:

     Monday November 29th – 10a.m. to 11a.m

     Tuesday November 30th – 10a.m. to 11a.m.

     Thursday December 2nd – 10a.m. to 11a.m.

Protocols for volunteering on the Kettle:

  1. Proof of Double Vaccination provided to the Salvation Army

   2.  Wear a mask properly for the entire time in the store.

   3. Sanitize before entering at the front door and also

       when you leave.

   4. Social distance while in the store.

   5. If you feel unwell, please arrange for someone to cover

       your shift.

Thank you,  The Sauble & Area Men’s Club Executive
