Chesley Lake Golf Tounament Report
The Golf Tournament at Chesley Lake Golf Course had 31 people in attendance this year.

The low net winners were Chris and Julie Ransom, Lynda Palmer and Don Riddell with a score of 32.
Closest to pins won by Dave Corbett and Chris Ransom
The longest drive was taken by a guest from South Port Golf.
An excellent meal prepared by the staff at the camp with burgers, corn on the cob, salad and dessert.

Tournament proceeds went to the Allenford Curling Club totaling $1370 dollars.
​

As always we are grateful to Don Riddell for once again organizing this event. He did a marvelous job and all who participated appreciate his efforts.

Bocce Ball Tournament with Corn Roast & BBQ
A very enthusiastic group of 33 bocce players gathered at the Sauble Beach United Church on September 28th to enjoy a successful event under beautiful sunny skies.
​
The winners, Ken and Mary Frook, were ecstatic as they were presented with the trophy by our president Dennis Heathers. Soon after receiving this coveted award, Ken graciously presented the trophy to Jo-Ann Sheridan for all her hard work behind the scenes to ensure the meal was prepared to perfection.
​
The consolation round winners were Dennis Heathers and Brenda Spurrell. (Their only loss was to the champs Ken and Mary-way to go!)
​
Once the competition ended the players were treated to a delicious meal which included burgers and hot dogs, corn on the cob, country baked beans, potato salad and refreshing watermelon slices, a great deal for only $5. It was a perfect day for playing and the tournament was enjoyed by all.
