Annual Golf Tournament Report
The tournament went very well this year with rain holding off and 32 golfers showing their best on a course that is one of the best kept in our Bruce county region. A wonderful meal was held in the new restaurant. What a beautiful building the Chesley Lake Camp has on their hands now. The winners of this year's tournament were:

Carson's Camp Pancake Breakfast Report
Seventy-five paying guests were served (about twenty non paying) at the fundraising breakfast where men club volunteers served up pancakes and sausage and raised $150 for the March of Dimes. The plan is to make this an annual event on the weekend following labour day with the hope of seeing the numbers increase.
Carson’s Camp would like to thank the men’s club volunteers for their participation in making this event an enjoyable experience for the campers.
Carson’s has been very generous in sponsoring those nice red shirts a number of the members have been wearing to events and also for providing the rec hall for our cards and corn evening. THANK YOU!
Stratford Theatre Trip Report
There where fifty-four Stratford guests on our bus trip on September 11th and all comments about the show were extremely positive. Remarks were overheard which included: “The Music Man was a great show”, “Lunch at the Queen’s Hotel was really good and dinner at Anna Mae’s was excellent as well as plentiful”, and “We had a good bus driver who got us close to the doors at all our venues”. All these comments bode well for future trips that will be offered to our members and their guest in 2019! Watch this website for more information.
Card Night & Corn Roast Report
The Men's Club had 27 members and guests attend our first corn and card night with a great evening of fellowship. The meal was sausage on a bun with potato salad, corn on the cob from Sinclair farms and pie for dessert. The Texas hold'em tournament included 16 players trying to show off their card skills. The evening ended with the top 3 players taking home the loot. Winning the tournament was Jim Atkinson, second Jim Ramsey and third Dave Corbett. Many thanks to all who helped prepare and cook the meal and to those who tried their skill at playing Texas hold'em. Also thanks to the dealers for the evening, Jack Fearnall and Don Riddell. Next year we will try to get three tables going so more card sharks can play.
